STOP. Not exactly. 

I've been taking photos since childhood, mostly relatives at family gatherings, because they always made such funny faces, especially Aunt Hertha... I've developed my skills through numerous workshops and a lot of practical experience over the years. By the way, Aunt Hertha is no longer part of my target audience.

Since my family was of the opinion I should get a decent job, I chose a commercial apprenticeship and spent countless years in an office. Was I happy? Hell, no! Eventually, frustration won out over convenience and so I decided to go all in into photography. Since then it's been my mission to help people feel great about their photos and to proudly show them - both color and black-and-white.

When I'm not behind the camera, editing, shuffling a bunch of paperwork around (aka doing accounting) or driving people around me crazy with new ideas, I'm learning foreign languages or go to spin class. Movement is important to me, you'll notice this during our photoshoot :-)
